Sorry?

I’m sick of it.

I’m sick of apologizing and I’m sick of people apologizing for everything.

Don’t be sorry about the things you’re passionate about. And definitely don’t feel embarassed because of it. If you like fandoms, the Eurovision Song Contest, some bands, this one actor that you think is absolutely cute, Disney films, anime, cosplay, then be proud of it. It’s a part of who you are. Don’t hide it.

If you’re passionate about social issues, racism, feminism, LGBT+ and so on like I am, don’t hide it. Talk about it, tell people that this is important to you.

Don’t feel embarassed, feel proud and strong and be happy that you know what you like. Everyone loves something and yours is not worse than anyone else’s.

Also, don’t apologize all the time. Don’t apologize because you can’t do EVERYTHING. Don’t apologize each time you can’t meet anyone because you have other things planned / you have to study / you are sick / you are not feeling good and need time for yourself. It’s not your fault so why be so sorry about it?

And don’t, DON’T, be sorry about feeling shit. I can understand and so should anyone else out there.

If you’re in a bad shape tonight, tell me and I will understand if you don’t want to talk to me or if you’re more quiet than usual or whatever. Especially if you have a mental illness. It’s NOT your fault and you should do something to make yourself feel better not to please everyone else.

Don’t be sorry about being who you are. That will only make you feel shit about yourself.

Sorry but not sorry for this quick rant, I really wanted to get this out there. Maybe someone agrees with me?

See you soon ❤
